High-Efficiency AMB Liquid Ring Pump – Hygienic Design for Air-Liquid Transfer
The AMB series liquid ring pump is a high-performance, hygienic pump solution engineered specifically for transferring liquid products containing entrained air or gases. Designed to meet the rigorous demands of the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and chemical processing industries, it ensures both gentle product handling and exceptional operational reliability.
All wetted parts, including the pump casing, cover, and impeller, are manufactured from acid-resistant stainless steel AISI 316L (1.4404), providing excellent corrosion resistance and product purity compliance. The EPDM sealing elements are FDA-compliant and ideal for sanitary processing environments.
The non-wetted components — such as cover nuts, mounting feet, support brackets, and the motor shroud — are made of stainless steel AISI 304 (1.4301), offering durability and a clean, polished finish. To minimize noise during operation, the motor shroud is fitted with a sound-absorbing liner, enhancing operator comfort and factory acoustics.
Larger models, such as the AMB-167S, 192S, and 203S, feature a robust cast iron adapter treated with galvanizing and protective coating, delivering superior chemical resistance and long-term performance.
The AMB pump series is an ideal choice for CIP-integrated systems, ensuring reliable performance in hygienic and demanding applications where air-liquid mixtures are present.

Shaft Seal – AMB Liquid Ring Pumps
The AMB-167S, AMB-192S, and AMB-203S models are equipped with a single mechanical shaft seal to ensure secure and leak-free operation. For the AMB-167S and AMB-192S, the stationary seal ring is made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel AISI 316L, while the rotating seal ring is made of high-grade carbon.
In contrast, the AMB-203 model utilizes an inverted configuration, where the stationary seal ring is carbon, and the rotating seal ring is made from AISI 316L stainless steel. This design ensures reliable sealing performance, chemical compatibility, and enhanced durability under demanding process conditions.
These precision-engineered seals are optimized for hygienic applications and contribute to the pump's long service life and low maintenance requirements.
