Square Manhole Cover – Sanitary Tank Access Solution

The Square Manhole Cover is designed for hygienic applications in the food, brewing, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries, providing safe and reliable access to tanks and processing vessels. Featuring an outward-opening lid, it is available with either a wrench-type or handwheel-type handle to meet different operational preferences. The interior surface is polished to a sanitary finish (Ra 0.8µm–0.5µm), while the exterior surface is offered in polished, matte, or sandblasted finishes to suit diverse environmental and aesthetic requirements.

This manhole is engineered for working pressures up to 1.0 bar and is equipped with FDA-compliant gaskets (EPDM, NBR, Silicone, or FPM) that conform to FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 regulations. Standard height options include 65mm, 80mm, 100mm, 120mm, and 150mm, with customizable dimensions available upon request. Constructed from premium stainless steel AISI 304 (1.4301) or AISI 316L (1.4404), the square manhole offers excellent corrosion resistance, mechanical strength, and compatibility with CIP/SIP cleaning systems. This makes it an ideal solution for sanitary tank access in demanding process environments.
